This course introduces the ways technologies and intellectual property move from development to market: licensing, IP assignment, startups and spinouts, strategic partnerships, joint development, contract manufacturing, and commercialization through an existing company. By the end, you will be able to compare your options and identify an appropriate path for a technology or innovation.
Researchers, engineers, scientists, technicians, technologists, entrepreneurs, R&D project managers, innovation managers and organizations developing new technologies. No business or commercialization background is required.
